Ingredients
- 1 C lentils
- 7 C water
- 1 C rice
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tsp ingredient
- 4 tsp ingredient
- Yogurt (for side)
Directions
Step 1
Sort lentils and rinse with cold water.
Step 2
Cook lentils in 7 cups water over medium for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Add rice, salt, pepper, and cook another 15 minutes.
Step 4
Fry onions in olive oil.
Step 5
Remove onions, pour oil over rice/lentils and mix. Set until cool.
To Finish:
Garnish with onions. Serve with yogurt on the side.
